There is time to explore & discern your calling within Carmel. If you have a vocation, it is best to nurture it there until it blossoms into certainty. Only then will you make perpetual vows. For now you still have the postulancy & then the novitiate then a period of temporary vows. If you give it a try & give it your all, you'll never have any regrets later.Rickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04229134781669560505noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1009651312335610597.post-51607890204504827852009-01-02T13:34:00.000+00:002009-01-02T13:34:00.000+00:00Happy and Blessed New Year!I hope you are fine and...Happy and Blessed New Year!
I hope you are fine and well, I have enclosed the link about vocations to religious life, it is for some time on the sidebar of my main blog, but maybe you had no chance to read it. My advice is to try to make private consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, by writing the words of consecration in your prayerbook and signing it with your name and praying the prayer daily in particular in the times of temptations. It is great help against temptations and many saints and religious did it and enjoyed the help of Our Blessed Mother. Be of good hope, if you are doing the will of God you are and will be fine and protected. You have your Guardian Angel and this is good practice to pray daily Our Father in his honour. God bless you and may Our Lady keep you safe always.Jayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09019463202735275839noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1009651312335610597.post-41038469676191580632008-12-24T01:01:00.000+00:002008-12-24T01:01:00.000+00:00I'm praying for you, sister. You recognize the temptation for what it is and have not given in to it, abandoning your path. The forces that would pull you from the path are strong, but Christ's Love for you and yours for Him is much stronger!

As Christ knew the evils that tempted him and awaited him, he also knew the glory that was just on the other side. So to must you ignore those temptations and only focus on the simple beauty of a life in Christ that awaits you!

Have faith, pray a Rosary to our Blessed Mother to help you and we will all keep you in our prayers.

May God Bless you!Bob Cavalcante Jr.https://www.blogger.com/profile/09421097176748288824noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1009651312335610597.post-45259271369580364202008-12-22T16:41:00.000+00:002008-12-22T16:41:00.000+00:00Religious who have proclaimed their vows struggle ...Religious who have proclaimed their vows struggle just like you are now.
